September – All the things you need to remember for your kids to go back to school

After 6 long weeks of summer holidays, plenty of parents feel more than just a little bit of relief about the idea of their kids going back to school. That said, when it comes to going back to school, there are plenty of things to think about and buy in order to make sure that your kids are ready to tackle a whole new year of learning.

To try and ease the headache, and make sure that you have everything that they need, we have put together our list of all the things that you need to make sure you have before September comes around.

Uniform

One of the most important things to think about when your kids go back to school is their uniform. After all, this is something that they will need to wear each and every day. The uniform that you buy will depend on the school and of course your child, however it is common to find that kids need trousers, shorts, summer dresses, pinafore dresses, shirts, polo shirts and jumpers. If you can, try to buy easy iron options as these make your every day life that little bit easier.

A Decent coat

As children play outside no matter what the season, you need to ensure that they have a good quality coat. It is always a good idea to have a winter coat which is thicker, and a summer jacket which is more waterproof and light in design, as this will make sure that your kids are covered on all bases.

A PE kit

As PE is an important part of the curriculum, your children will need to make sure that they have a PE kit with them at school. These often need to include shorts, joggers, trainers, caps and of course a t-shirt, all comfy things that are easy for them to change into and out of.

Stationary

Another thing to think of when it comes to back to school is stationary. The stationary that you need to buy will really depend on what is provided by the school, as well as their age. However, it if you want to try and cover the basics, then these are some of the things that you should aim to have:

·         Pens

·         Pencils

·         Tissues

·         Pencil Sharpener
