Nail Polish Tin from Rachel Ellen Designs
Here at Gifts From Handpicked, we stock a wide selection of different items. Some of the best gifts are those which cater for those little problems which no-one else – including the recipient – had thought of. Those problems which, once solved, make life that little bit more pleasant. Of all the problems in a girl’s life, it would perhaps be a stretch to say that nail-polish storage is among the more pressing. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a problem!
A perfect solution comes in the form of this charming tin, courtesy of Rachel Ellen. It features the trademark hand-drawn style which has made this particular designer’s work so well-loved. Since starting her work in 1997, Rachel’s headquarters, based in a former Victorian print factory in Nottingham, has produced a procession of wonderful items, of which this tin is just one!
One can tell just by looking at this item who produced it. Along the sides are a number of differently-shaped vials, which present a clue as to the tin’s contents. For the removal of doubt, it features, in large letters across the top, the words ‘Nail Polish’, along with an illustration of a girl, in the distinctive Rachel Ellen style.
So, if you know a girl whose nails seem to change colours almost every day, but whose bedroom remains a multi-coloured mess of vials, then there can be few gifts more suitable than this one. It’s perfect for storing all sorts of girly things – you might even fill it with something suitable before presenting it!
